Pakistan Cricket Team Head Coach Saqlain Mushtaq has suffered a knee injury, a ball hit his right knee during the training session yesterday, Saqlain’s knee is swollen and he is also feeling pain.
According to the Media Manager of Pakistan Cricket Team, Ibrahim Badis, Saqleen Mushtaq is resting.
Apart from them, wicketkeeper Muhammad Rizwan and batsman Fakhar Zaman also rested while other players including fast bowlers participated in the training session.
It should be noted that fast bowler Shaheen Afri is also suffering from a knee injury and is in England for rehab.
Fast bowler Muhammad Wasim Jr. has been ruled out of the Asia Cup due to a back problem, while Muhammad Rizwan, Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf appeared to suffer from cramps in the match against India.
In the Asia Cup, Pakistan was defeated by India by 5 wickets in the first match, while the Pakistan team will play the second match against Hong Kong on Friday.
