Federal Minister’s order to take action against those who deduct from Benazir Income Support Program

Federal Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Security Shazia Marri has ordered strict action against those who deduct from Benazir Income Support Program.

He said that more than 20 cases have been registered against those who took deductions, including one woman.

Shazia Murri said that the serious crime of deducting money from Benazir Income Support Program will not be tolerated.

He said that the federal government has announced to give 25, 25 thousand per family to rain and flood victims through Benazir Income Support Program.

The Federal Minister said that Benazir Income Support Program has started this whole exercise in this regard, Benazir Income Support Program reiterated to distribute money to the victims immediately.

He said that the activity of distribution of money to the victims is going on in the whole country, the distribution of relief money to the victims has been released by two banks, HBL Connect and Bank Al Falah.

Shazia Murri said that HBL Connect in Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan and Bank Al Falah in KPK are distributing the money.

He said that we are receiving news of deduction from Benazir Income Support Program, which was being deducted from the amount of 25 thousand rupees given to the affected women and families.

He said that we have taken strict action against this process and arrested the involved agents and staff.

Shazia Murri said that at some places the agents and staff and at some places the police personnel were found involved in the deduction process, we have taken strict measures against those who deducted the aid money.

He also said that I took strict action after receiving a complaint of money deduction in my constituency Sanghar.

He said that Yanazir will not tolerate any crime during this exercise of income support program, deduction from money is theft and we will never accept deduction from poor women’s money.
