Facebook responsible for fueling hatred before Rohingya massacre, Amnesty International

Amnesty International blamed Facebook for fueling hatred before the Rohingya massacre.

In this regard, Amnesty International said that Facebook’s algorithm spread hateful content against the Rohingya since 2012. Despite the warning, Facebook did not remove anti-Rohingya content from its platform.

The global organization says that the hate spread on Facebook resulted in the massacre of 2017.

According to Amnesty International, Facebook’s dangerous algorithms and greed for profit fueled serious human rights violations against the Rohingya.

Facebook company Meta declined to comment on Amnesty International’s report.
