National cricket team star fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi called on Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister Khalid Khurshid Khan. Meanwhile, Shaheen Shah Afridi praised the beauty of the northern region and expressed his desire to play cricket in Gilgit-Baltistan.
During a meeting with national cricket team fast bowler and Lahore Qalandars captain Shaheen Shah Afridi in Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister Khalid Khurshid Khan said that steps were being taken to build an international style cricket stadium in Gilgit-Baltistan.
He said that people of Gilgit-Baltistan are eager to see the players of national cricket team playing cricket in their area.
Praising the beautiful scenery of the northern region, Shaheen Shah Afridi said that he would consider himself lucky to have the opportunity to play cricket in Gilgit-Baltistan.
In the meeting, the Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister also presented a commemorative shield to Shaheen Shah Afridi.
