According to reports, the Indian government has banned the streaming and sharing of the documentary by the British Broadcasting Corporation as propaganda.

Now the position of America on the action taken in India in this regard has also come forward.

US State Department spokesman Ned Price said on this initiative taken in India that we support free press in the world and the principles that strengthen democracy highlight the importance of freedom of expression and religion.

Ned Price said that we do this all over the world including India.

A spokesperson of the US State Department said that when we had concerns about the steps being taken in India, we raised them.

Apart from this, the police of the Indian capital New Delhi have also arrested the students of Delhi University for showing a documentary film made by the British Broadcasting Corporation regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
