An internal story of Punjab Irrigation Minister Mohsin Leghari’s meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan came to light.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister asked the Minister for Irrigation how far the issue of joint monitoring of Sindh and Punjab water has reached.
Sources said that Punjab Minister for Irrigation Mohsin Leghari informed the Prime Minister about the details.
According to sources, the Irrigation Minister said that Sindh team had been monitored at Taunsa Barrage. Sindh did not allow monitoring of Punjab from Guddu Barrage.
The Irrigation Minister said that Sindh was not cooperating on the issue of joint monitoring.
Sources said that Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed regret over the non-cooperation of Sindh.
