Agreement between Lahore Qalandars and Yorkshire County Cricket Club

A partnership agreement has been reached between Lahore Qalandars, the most popular franchise of Pakistan Super League (PSL) and Yorkshire County Cricket Club, under which Qalandars fast bowlers will be Yorkshire County’s overseas players.

Yorkshire has also announced a partnership agreement, with an international player exchange between the two. Young Yorkshire County players will use the Qalandars High Performance Center in Lahore under the scholarship, and Lahore Qalandars cricketers will be able to train in Yorkshire. The friendly match between Lahore Qalandars and Yorkshire County will be played on January 16 at Gaddafi Stadium.

Interim managing director Yorkshire Cricket Darren Gough says he is happy to welcome talented fast bowler Harris Rauf to his club, as the deal will give them a chance to reach out to each other.

COO Lahore Qalandars Samin Rana said that this program will have a positive impact on the success of both the clubs.

On the occasion, Director Cricket Lahore Qalandars Aqib Javed said that Lahore Qalandars will continue to work with clubs around the world in the same manner.
