The Pakistani arm of a multinational drug manufacturing company in the country has stopped making fever pills and syrups.
In this regard, the Pakistan branch of the pharmaceutical multinational company has written a letter to the Principal Secretary of the Prime Minister. The pharmaceutical company says in the letter that they were making fever pill after suffering losses for many months which is not possible anymore.
According to Farhan Haroon, general manager of the pharmaceutical company, it is not possible to make fever pills and syrup at the current price.
The pharmaceutical company says that if the government approves the price increase, they will start manufacturing the medicine again.
