Israeli citizens banned from traveling to the United States
Israel has banned its citizens from traveling to the United States over the spread of the coronavirus Omi Crohn’s virus.
According to the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office, Israeli citizens will not be able to travel to the United States without a special permit. The travel ban will begin on Tuesday.
The Israeli Ministry of Health on Saturday added several European countries to its corona virus red list, including a ban on Israeli nationals traveling to the United States, in its recommendations to prevent the omega kroon variant.
The ban on travel to the United States would be a major step forward for the government of Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, because thousands of Israelis hold dual citizenship and the two countries have close ties.
