Pakistan: Corona virus cases exceed 1.29 million

The severity of the fourth wave of corona virus in Pakistan is decreasing, the number of deaths after its cases has also come down drastically, the country is ranked 34th in the list of corona patients.

According to the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), 301 more cases of Corona virus have been reported in Pakistan in the last 24 hours. A further 136 patients were cured, while the rate of positive cases rose to 0.70%.

Corona virus has so far killed 28,849 patients across Pakistan, bringing the total number of infected patients to 1,290,214.

In the last 24 hours, 42,895 more corona viruses have been tested in the country, while a total of 22,689,025 corona tests have been done so far.

In the last 24 hours, 1,155,444 people across Pakistan have been vaccinated against the corona virus. Full vaccination is done.

The number of coronavirus patients in Sindh is higher than other provinces at 4,78,564, bringing the total death toll to 7,640.

So far 444,032 cases of corona virus have been reported in Punjab, while the total number of deaths here is more than other provinces which has reached 13,053.

The number of corona virus patients in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has risen to 180,825, bringing the total death toll to 5,900.

In the federal capital Islamabad, 1,88,198 patients have been infected with the corona virus so far, while a total of 963 people have lost their lives so far.

In Azad Jammu and Kashmir, 34,627 cases of corona virus have been reported so far, while a total of 744 patients have died so far.

Corona virus has so far reported 33,540 cases in Balochistan where 363 people have died from the disease.

In Gilgit-Baltistan, 10,428 cases of corona virus have been reported and 186 people have died so far.
