Petrol could have been cheaper by Rs 11, industry sources said

According to the report, GST on diesel has been increased from 7.4% to 9%.

On the other hand, the profit of dealers and oil marketing companies on diesel has been increased by Rs 1.54 per liter while petroleum levy on petrol and diesel has been maintained.
