Ishaq Dar will try to reschedule the debt of 27 billion dollars

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said that 27 billion dollars of loans are not under the Paris Club for rescheduling, he will try to reschedule the non-Paris Club debt of 27 billion dollars.

Ishaq Dar, while giving an interview to the news agency, has said that there is no intention to request debt relief, Pakistan’s default is unlikely, there is no need to extend the bonds maturing in December.

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said during the interview that there is no intention to request a review of the current program of the IMF.

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said that the floods have affected crops in the country on a large scale, there may be a need to import wheat next year.

It should be noted that earlier Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said that Pakistan will not go to the Paris Club for debt rescheduling.

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad last Sunday, Ishaq Dar said that Pakistan will pay the bonds on time, the coalition government will fulfill its obligations, the country suffered from problems due to the previous government.

He said that he will abide by the IMF agreement.
