Second T20: Pakistan failed to score big, West Indies target of 173

The Pakistan team failed to score big today at the National Stadium where it gave the West Indies a target of 173 runs to win.

In this match being played at the National Stadium in Karachi, Pakistan had decided to bat first after winning the toss.

Once again, the captain of the national team Babar Azam failed to show his batting prowess and was run out for 7 runs.

Muhammad Rizwan, Iftikhar Ahmed and Haider Ali’s 38, 32 and 31 runs respectively helped the team in difficulties.

In the closing moments, Shadab Khan played a smoky innings of 28 runs off 12 balls to take the team to a total of 172 runs.

Aqeel Hussain was once again the best bowler for West Indies who gave only 16 runs in 4 overs but he got a wicket.

The other successful bowlers were Odin Smith who took two wickets while Ocean Thomas, Romario Shepherd and Hayden Wash took one wicket each.

First T20:

Keep in mind that the national team has a 1-0 lead over the visiting team in the three-match series.

In the first T20 match played yesterday, Pakistan easily defeated West Indies by 63 runs.

No changes have been made in the Pakistan team and the team consists of captain Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Fakhr Zaman, Haider Ali, Asif Ali, Iftikhar Ahmed, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Nawaz, Haris Rauf, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Mohammad Wasim.

West Indies team:

There has been a change in the West Indies squad, with Hayden Wash Jr. replacing Devon Thomas to strengthen the batting line-up.

The visiting team includes captains Nicholas Puran, Brendon King, Shay Hope, Shamara Brooks, Roman Powell, Odin Smith, Dominic Drakes, Hayden Wash Jr., Aqeel Hussain, Romario Shepherd and Ocean Thomas.
