There was an uproar in the Senate over the letter written by Attorney General Shahzad Ata Elahi to Prime Minister Nazir Tarar.
Senate meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani.
In the meeting, Pakistan People’s Party Senator Raza Rabbani protested against the Attorney General’s letter.

Expressing his opinion on this occasion, Raza Rabbani said that the Attorney General cannot speak on the basis of Parliament, a letter should be written to him on this matter.
Senator Raza Rabbani said that if the Attorney General is so supportive of the Parliament and the Judiciary, then when the Parliament is attacked by the court, he should defend the Parliament in the court.
