All eyes have been focused on the governor’s house after the election in Punjab has not been resolved yet and the Tehreek-e-Insaf has insisted on holding the election immediately.
According to the order of the Lahore High Court, the Election Commission has requested a meeting with the Governor of Punjab today to consult on the date of general elections in the province.
On the other hand, Imran Khan has announced to start a movement to save the constitution if the election is not held within 90 days.
In the first phase, lawyers, civil society and party leaders will protest, while in the second phase, Imran Khan himself will enter the field.
In the context of the political situation, there will be an important meeting between Imran Khan and Chaudhry Parvez Elahi today.
In this meeting, the date of elections in Punjab will be discussed.
The leadership of Tehreek-e-Insaf and Q-League will also decide the strategy related to the election process.
