Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif says that Pakistan is continuing to send relief goods to Turkey. The Pakistani nation is saddened by the loss of precious lives in the terrible earthquake.
He expressed these views on the occasion of his visit to the Turkish Embassy, on which Federal Ministers Bilawal Bhutto, Azam Nazir Tarar and Ayaz Sadiq were also present with him.
According to the statement, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said on this occasion that the relief goods sent by Pakistan to Turkey include tents, blankets, warm clothes and other essential items.
The Prime Minister said that provision of aid through trains is also being considered.
He said that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the ambassador in Turkey are informing about the situation daily, they will continue to support the Turkish brothers until the earthquake victims are restored.
The Prime Minister said that the Turkish government had helped Pakistan in the 2005 earthquake, 2010 and recent floods.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also recorded his comments in the guest book on this occasion.
On this occasion, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that he will take all possible measures to help the Turkish brothers, Azam Nazir Tarar said that the private and public sector of Pakistan is ready to help the earthquake victims.
The Turkish ambassador said that Pakistan is standing by our side in this hour of difficulty, Pakistan Army, NGOs and philanthropists are actively participating in the aid.
