The Supreme Court, while hearing the petition for canceling the bail of Nawab Khan, accused of Rs 23 crore corruption, dismissed it as ineffective.
A hearing was held under the chairmanship of Chief Justice of Pakistan Umar Ata Bandial on the request of NAB to cancel the bail of the accused involved in corruption, which was canceled and dismissed under the new law of NAB.
According to the NAB prosecutor, after the new NAB law, the case of corruption of 23 crore rupees has gone out of the jurisdiction of NAB.
The Chief Justice of Pakistan asked the NAB prosecutor whether the cases out of the jurisdiction of NAB have ended.
The NAB prosecutor replied that NAB is not withdrawing the cases, but the courts are returning the cases.
The Chief Justice of Pakistan asked the NAB prosecutor whether it is not written in the new NAB law where the cases are to be sent.
He further said that there are some loopholes in the new NAB law which we are seeing.
According to Justice Athar Minullah, NAB is also very incompetent here.
The Supreme Court dismissed the accused’s bail application as ineffective.
