PSL 8 kicks off in Multan with a colorful ceremony

The eighth edition of the superstar-studded Pakistan Super League (PSL) has kicked off with a colorful ceremony in Multan.

The opening ceremony of the 8th edition of HBL PSL took place at Multan Cricket Stadium. It started with the national anthem of Pakistan.

Speaking during the ceremony, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Management Committee Chairman Najam Sethi said that the journey which started from Dubai has now reached Multan. Will go to Peshawar next year.

Najam Sethi said that PSL has given great players to the national team. PSL will continue to give big players to the national team.

PCB Management Committee Chairman Najam Sethi came on stage along with Lahore Qalandars captain Shaheen Afridi and Multan Sultans captain Muhammad Rizwan, on this occasion the owners of Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans were also with them.

The big news for cricket fans is that all the PSL 8 matches will be telecast live on JioSuper and PTV Sports.

Renowned singers Asim Azhar, Shay Gul, Faris Shafi who sang the song of the event gave a wonderful performance. Sahir Ali Baga and Aima Baig also won the hearts of the fans by awakening the magic of sound.

In the event, local artistes added to the excitement of the fans present in the stadium with a dance performance.

Asim Azhar, Shay Gul and Faris Shafi presented the PSL Anthem, Mohammad Aurangzeb, CEO of the main sponsor of HBL PSL Eight, gave a short speech.

At the end of the event, a spectacular fireworks display dazzled the atmosphere.
