According to reports, issues on external loans, foreign exchange reserves, mini-budget for implementation of taxes will be decided in the talks.

Preparations are being made to impose new taxes of 170 billion in the mini budget, instead of presenting the mini budget in the assembly, it has been decided to bring it in the form of an ordinance.

The IMF will also be informed about this development during the talks today.

It should be noted that the IMF mission left for Washington on the morning of February 10 after 10 days of negotiations.

The 10-day review talks between Pakistan and the IMF for the next tranche were completed on February 9, but a staff-level agreement could not be reached, with the IMF mission making the agreement subject to the approval of headquarters in Washington.
