NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg says that the NATO alliance is planning to increase its stockpile of weapons.
While giving a press conference before the two-day meeting of NATO defense ministers, he said that the use of arms in Ukraine is much higher than our rate of production.
Speaking at the NATO headquarters in Brussels, the Secretary General said that our defense industry is under pressure.
He said that the production of large caliber weapons has increased from 12 months to 28 months, orders placed today can be delivered after two and a half years.
Stoltenberg said that NATO has carried out an extraordinary review of its weapons stockpile, for the past 8 years, the European allies and Canada have continuously increased production, while an additional 350 billion dollars have been spent.
