National Assembly Speaker Raja Pervez Ashraf has said that 50 years have passed since the constitution of Pakistan, now it is necessary to bring the facts.
In a statement, Raja Pervez Ashraf said that it has become necessary to tell who sacrificed for democracy and the constitution of Pakistan.
He said that Benazir Bhutto also sacrificed his life for democracy, martyrs’ sacrifices for democracy will always be remembered.
Speaker National Assembly further said that on the completion of 50 years of the Constitution, celebrations will be held across the country, participants from outside the world will also participate in these celebrations, the slogan of these celebrations will be ‘My Constitution is the guarantor of my freedom’.
He said that comprehensive programs have also been organized in the National Assembly of Pakistan, large-scale events will be held, in which speakers will be invited.
Raja Pervez Ashraf also said that the constitution of Pakistan had been corrupted, the name of a general was also mentioned, then Asif Ali Zardari returned all the powers to the parliament.
