Women’s T20 World Cup: Bad bowling by Pakistan, India wins by 7 wickets

In the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, due to Pakistan’s poor bowling and fielding, India won the first match of the event by 7 wickets.

The green shirts set a target of 150 runs which the rival team achieved an over before.

In the match played in Cape Town, Pakistan team could not start well, the first three wickets fell for 43 runs.

In this difficulty, captain Bisma Maruf batted well, first Sudra Amin supported, scored 11 runs, then Ayesha Naseem made a wonderful partnership with the captain. The captain completed his half-century in 45 balls.

Bisma Maruf and Ayesha Naseem took Pakistan’s score to 149 runs for 4 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

Captain Bisma Maruf played an unbeaten innings of 68 runs and Ayesha Naseem scored 43 runs.

In pursuit of the target, Sadia Iqbal took India’s first wicket on 38 runs. Then Naashra Sindhu dismissed more players. But then Jemima Richa Ghosh batted brilliantly and achieved the target with an over to spare.

Jemima played an unbeaten innings of 53 and Richa 31 runs.
