Federal Minister for Climate Change Senator Sherry Rahman has issued a message on National Women’s Day.
In the ongoing message, Sherry Rehman has said that on National Women’s Day, I pay tribute to all brave, hardworking, brave women, 49% of the country’s population consists of women.
They say that our courageous women drive the wheel of documented and undocumented economy, our women are not only the capital of the country but also support.
Federal Minister and Senator Sherry Rehman said that be it Lady Health Worker or Benazir Income Support Program, People’s Party has always brought public and revolutionary projects.
He said that Sindh Government’s People’s Poverty Reduction Program is becoming a new example of women’s development, our women are laying the foundation of a self-sufficient society.
Sherry Rehman has said in the statement that under the project, interest-free loans are being given to poor women for their businesses, women are ensuring economic stability and development through the revolutionary project.
He says that 1.3 lakh women have benefited from the project which has been going on for 4 years, more than 80 thousand families have come above the poverty line from this project.
The federal minister and senator has further said that many other projects of women and social development of the Sindh government are also ongoing, we do not just shout slogans of ‘change’, but also bring revolutionary projects for the development of the society.
Federal Minister for Climate Change Senator Sherry Rehman also says that social and economic revolution in the society comes not from slogans but from vision and performance.
