Accident in Cholistan Jeep Rally, 4 people injured

On the last day of the 18th Desert Jeep Rally in the Cholistan desert, a carry box collided with the vehicle participating in the race.

According to rescue sources, 4 people in the carry compartment were injured, one of them is in critical condition.

Sources say that the accident took place on the racing track, 2 km away from the Dil Vish Stadium, in which the jeep driver Malik Jamal and the navigator were unhurt in the accident.

37 vehicles took to the track in the second phase of the pre-paired category competitions of the ongoing Desert Jeep Rally in Bahawalpur.

Qualifying round winner Zain Mahmood was the first to leave the track while second placed Faisal Shadikhel and third placed Sahibzada Sultan were flagged off.

On the final day of the Jeep Rally, women’s category competitions will also be held.
