Former Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi asked PML-N some questions related to the election.
Talking to the media on the occasion of the marriage of Muslim League leader Mian Asad Munir’s son in Lahore, Chaudhry Parvez Elahi said that the election trumpet has sounded in Punjab.
He said that the PML-N should stop playing with the constitution, the attempt to deviate from the constitution will have serious consequences.
The former Chief Minister of Punjab raised the question that if the PML-N is not afraid of the election, then why is it adopting pretexts? Why is the Punjab governor reluctant to give the election date?
He said that according to the constitution and the law, the decision of the court has come regarding the elections, the Election Commission should announce the election schedule immediately.
Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi further said that the people are ready to pay the price for the inflation that Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) is throwing.
He said that the popularity of Imran Khan is increasing day by day, as soon as the PTI chairman goes on the election campaign, opponents will be seen running like jackals.
Chaudhry Parvez Elahi also said that every institution is obliged to support the Election Commission to conduct elections. The nation is watching how the 13-party alliance is running away from the elections.
He said that the PDM government has given nothing but economic disaster to the country and the nation. Shahbaz Sharif’s incompetence made the people suffer from inflation and other financial problems.
