During the hearing of the defamation case against Federal Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, Chairman PTI Imran Khan said that he had a conversation with Khawaja Asif’s lawyer Ali Shah Geelani.
In today’s hearing, Khawaja Asif’s lawyer Ali Shah Geelani cross-examined Imran Khan.
During the cross-examination, Imran Khan said that you fought the case well, you did not know the case, you made the case, I will think about hiring you in the future.
Imran Khan addressed the judge and said that Shaukat Khanum Hospital is the biggest charity organization, I am the biggest charity collector of Pakistan.
Continuing, he said that Khawaja Asif’s accusations against me are baseless, if the charity is suspected, the donation ends, I want to save Shaukat Khanum Hospital.
Imran Khan said that Tehreek-e-Insaaf is the only party which runs on donation, Khawaja Asif targeted Shaukat Khanum’s donation and myself.
Imran Khan requested the court to pronounce the verdict of the defamation case as soon as possible.
The judge adjourned the case till March 4, saying, “I think that the case should be decided at the earliest.”
