US: Pakistani doctor implants pork heart in patient

In the United States, Dr. Mansoor Mohi-ud-Din of Pakistan performed a feat in the world of medical science by implanting a pig’s heart in the heart of a heart patient.

According to the University of Maryland Medical School, a patient has been successfully implanted in the heart of a genetically modified pig.

Talking to Geo News, Dr. Mansoor Mohi-ud-Din from Karachi said that the monkey’s heart was implanted in the initial experiments.

He also said that the monkey’s heart was not useful in transplanting, while the experiment on pigs was useful.
