Five accused of creating app for selling Muslim women have been arrested in India.
The creator of one app posted pictures of more than 80 Muslim women last year, while the other app uploaded pictures of more than 100 Muslim women.
The purpose of the app was to defame and ridicule Muslim women. Pictures of many women including Malala Yousafzai and Shabana Azmi were posted on the online web.
The arrested persons include five accused including the main accused. Including a woman. The alleged creator of the app, a 25-year-old man, posted pictures of more than 80 Muslim women last year.
A few days after pictures of more than 100 Muslim women were uploaded on another app, four students, including 21-year-old student Neeraj Bishnoi, were arrested.
