Minister of State for Petroleum Mossadegh Malik has said that there is 20 days of petrol and 29 days of diesel in the country.
While holding a press conference in Islamabad, he said that the Prime Minister has directed that there should be no shortage of petrol in the country.
He said that inspections were conducted at different places in 2 districts, in one district a fine of 230 thousand rupees was imposed on those who had stock.
Mossadegh Malik said that in another district, one petrol pump was sealed and fined more than 5 lakhs, 6 petrol pumps have also been sealed.
The Minister of State said that 8 illegal storages were sealed in Wahari, spoke to the head of Petroleum Dealers Association, no one will be harassed unnecessarily.
Mossadegh Malik said that the head of the Petroleum Dealers Association has assured us of cooperation, 21 FIRs have been registered, actions have been taken against illegal hoarders.
