The Lahore High Court Rawalpindi Bench has inquired during the hearing on the appeals of the Benazir Bhutto murder case that the bad accused in the case, Rafaqaat, has gone missing or has been picked up by someone.
A division bench comprising Justice Mirza Waqas Rauf and Justice Chaudhry Abdul Aziz adjourned the hearing of the case indefinitely.
The court summoned the CPO on the next date on the report related to the missing bad accused association.
The court declared that the hearing will be held after the attendance of the accused is completed.
The court scolded the SHO Thana City and asked him that where is the report of the ongoing arrest warrant of the accused association? What progress was made on the case of Rafafat Hussain? Where is the SHO of Thana Sadar Baruni? Why was the court’s orders of May 19 not implemented?
The Lahore High Court Rawalpindi Bench said that the Special Bench is conducting the hearing and no one has an idea of the importance of the case, SHO City is not even aware of the matter and court orders, CPO Rawalpindi should appear at the next hearing and tell them. Why the court orders have not been implemented?
It should be noted that the Supreme Court had issued an arrest warrant for the accused in the Benazir Bhutto murder case.
