No Pakistani was reported injured in the earthquake in Turkey or Syria, Foreign Office Spokesman

Spokesperson of the Foreign Office Mumtaz Zahra Baloch has said that Pakistan’s rescue teams are also participating in the relief operation in Turkey.

During the weekly briefing, he said that 23 Pakistanis in Turkey have been transferred from Gazi Antap University to Adana, 16 Pakistanis will be brought back while the rest will go to Istanbul.

Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that the proposal for a visit to Turkey is under consideration, Pakistan is providing all possible help to Turkey due to earthquake disaster.

The spokesperson of the Foreign Office said that our missions in Turkey and Syria are in contact with the respective governments.

Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that violations of human rights are being seen continuously in Occupied Kashmir, Pakistan will continue to provide political, diplomatic and moral assistance to Kashmiri brothers and sisters.

The spokesman said that the talks on intelligence and security issues with Afghanistan are also ongoing, Pakistan has decided not to participate in the conference of regional partners in Afghanistan.

The spokesperson of the Foreign Office said that Obaid Nizamani, Pakistan’s ambassador to Afghanistan, is still in Pakistan, and has not yet decided to send his ambassador back to Afghanistan.

He said that he does not know about the visit of the Chief of Army Staff to America, ISPR can tell better about it.

Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that talks between Pakistan and Iran in various fields are going on, decided not to participate in the conference in Moscow.

The spokesperson said that Minister of State for External Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar visited Sri Lanka on February 3-4.

He said that Hina Rabbani Khar met the President and Prime Minister of Sri Lanka in which mutual cooperation in the fields of trade, economy and defense was discussed.

Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that the Foreign Secretary is on a visit to Spain these days and will now visit France where he will sign the bilateral cooperation agreement.
