The protest sit-in of Jamaat-e-Islami outside the Sindh Assembly in Karachi against the controversial local government law in Sindh continues for the tenth day.
Despite the severe cold, Jamaat-e-Islami workers are present in sit-ins day and night and are not ready to end the protest till the demands are approved.
Protesters say the sit-in will continue until the Sindh Local Government Act is changed.
According to the spokesman of Jamaat-e-Islami, protests against the controversial local government law in Sindh will be staged in different parts of Karachi today.
The Jamaat-e-Islami spokesman also said that Deputy Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Liaquat Baloch would also participate in the protest sit-in today.
