Foreign policy is not free from US influence, admits Moeed Yousaf

Prime Minister Imran Khan’s National Security Adviser Dr Moeed Yousaf has admitted that our foreign policy is not free from US influence.

Talking on Geo News program Jirga, Dr. Moeed Yousuf said that foreign policy cannot be independent if we continue to take loans.

“We have to borrow from outside to cover our expenses, which is why we have to compromise on economic sovereignty,” he said.

Dr. Moeed Yousuf added that our foreign policy is not free from the influence of the United States and there is hardly any country whose foreign policy is completely independent.
