The first meeting of Sindh Journalists and Media Practitioners Protection Commission was held under the chairmanship of Chairman Justice Retired Rashid A. Rizvi.
The commission decided that advertisements would be published in newspapers for the awareness of journalists and media practitioners.
The e-mail address and helpline number of the commission will be given in these advertisements so that journalists or media workers can send requests under the Journalists Protection Act.
Karachi Union of Journalists has expressed satisfaction over the first meeting of the commission.
