Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Asad Umar while reacting to the Lahore High Court’s suspension of the Election Commission’s order, said that the court suspended the Speaker’s political decision.
In a statement issued on the social networking website Twitter, Asad Umar said that the membership of 43 Tehreek-e-Insaf MNAs has been restored.
He said that Raja Riaz should prepare to vacate the room of Leader of Opposition.
It should be noted that the Lahore High Court has suspended the Election Commission’s order to de-notify 43 members of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) assembly.
A hearing was held in the Lahore High Court against accepting the resignation of 43 members of the National Assembly who resigned from PTI.
The Lahore High Court suspended the order of the Election Commission and suspended the by-elections in 43 constituencies until further notice.
