At the center of the food department in Mamum Kanjan, the employees were removing the stored wheat from sacks and piling it and mixing it with sand. The sensitive agency informed the assistant commissioner Tandlianwala, after which the center was raided, where 40 min. The surplus sand was brought in different bags and the mixing process was going on.
After that Deputy Director Food Umar Sarwar and Assistant Commissioner Tandlianwala Muhammad Owais reached the spot.
The officers have suspended four employees including two food grain inspectors posted at the wheat buying center Mamum Kanjan and started an inquiry.
