President PTI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has said that the Election Commission should stop the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from interfering in government affairs.
Pervaiz Khattak sent a letter to the Chief Election Commissioner, saying that the Governor is overstepping his constitutional powers.
According to the text of the letter, the task of the governor is to give the date of the elections to the Election Commission, free elections are not possible in the province with the current governor.
Pervez Khattak said that the governor is influencing the caretaker government.
He further said that due to the actions of the governor, the assembly elections in the province may be controversial.
