The Chief Secretary Punjab suggested to the Election Commission to conduct the National and Provincial Assembly elections in one day.
The Chief Secretary Punjab said that the Election Commission should conduct the National and Provincial Assembly elections in one day on priority basis.
He said that if this is not done, the expenditure on elections will almost double, in such a situation law enforcement agencies will not be able to provide foolproof security.
Chief Secretary Punjab further said that about 42 billion rupees will be required to maintain law and order in these elections.
