A case was registered for a dispute outside the Election Commission office in Multan. A case has been registered against more than 500 people including PML-N and PTI leaders and workers.
Police say that a case was registered on the complaint of Returning Officer Javed Iqbal, the case includes 8 provisions including terrorism provisions.
Police say that PTI’s Aamir Dogar, Nadeem Qureshi, Javed Akhtar Ansari and others are named in the case.
Police say that PML-N candidate Sheikh Tariq Rasheed, Haji Ehsanuddin Qureshi and other workers have been named in the case.
It should be noted that during the submission of nomination papers in Multan, a dispute broke out between the PML-N and PTI workers in front of the Election Commission.
Meanwhile, workers of both the parties pelted stones at each other due to which 6 people were slightly injured.
The fight took place between supporters of PTI candidate Malik Amir Dogar and League candidate Tariq Rasheed.
Workers of both parties were shouting slogans against each other.
Shortly after the altercation, PTI workers left the Election Commission office.
