Elon Musk, the new chief of micro-blogging website Twitter, fired another top Twitter executive for hiding information.
Elon Musk confirmed in a tweet that ‘Deputy General Counsel James Baker has been fired from Twitter today due to concerns about his possible involvement in suppressing information important to public discourse’.
Last week journalist Matt Tabby published some documents titled ‘Twitter Files’ along with Elon Musk.
This set of documents is primarily about Twitter’s internal communications to reveal connections with political actors.
The documents focus on how Twitter blocked news about US Attorney Hunter Biden’s laptop for the 2020 US presidential election.
The documents also allege that previous Twitter management took steps to suppress reporting on Hunter Biden’s laptop ahead of the 2020 US presidential election.
According to the documents, Baker, Twitter’s deputy general counsel, played a key role in the whole affair.

James Baker added that ‘but at this stage it is reasonable for us to recognize that they may happen and that caution is necessary’.
It should be noted that Hunter Biden allegedly left his laptop for repair at the shop of a man named Isaac in 2019 while his father, Joe Biden, was a candidate for the US presidential election.
Content found on Hunter Biden’s laptop was later made public. E-mails obtained by Western media from the laptop lent credence to Russia’s claims that the US president’s son funded bioweapon research in Ukraine.
