After two and a half months of protests against the death of a detained girl in Iran, the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Khamenei, supported the reconstruction of the Iranian cultural system. A revolution is needed.
According to Iranian media, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei has emphasized the revolutionary reconstruction of the country’s cultural system in a meeting with the Cultural Council of Iran.
Ayatollah Khamenei says that there is a need to bring a revolution in the cultural structure of the country, the Supreme Council should observe the weaknesses of culture in various fields.
He further said that protests against the death of a girl arrested for violating the hijab law in the country have been going on since September 17.
Mehsa Amini, 22, died of an alleged heart attack while in police custody.
