Assistant Commissioner Ayesha Zehri was made the first woman Deputy Commissioner of Balochistan for helping the flood victims.

Ayesha Zehri has been posted as Deputy Commissioner Naseerabad, earlier she was posted as Deputy Secretary Irrigation.

Deputy Commissioner Naseerabad Muhammad Hussain has been made OSD for poor performance during floods.

In his statement released on the social networking site Twitter, Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Qudous Bizenjo said that the appointment of Ayesha Zehri is an expression of confidence in the abilities of the women of the province.

He said that Ayesha Zehri along with the Levies Force personnel not only rescued thousands of people and passengers stranded in the difficult areas of Bolan but also ensured adequate arrangements for the flood victims in the relief camps.

It should be noted that Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif met Ayesha Zehri during the visit and paid tribute to her.
