Iraqi army spokesman Yahya Rasool says that security forces killed two suicide bombers in Karbala.
He said that one accused was wearing an explosive belt and was killed while the other accused was fleeing from the scene but was shot dead.
Karbala, located southwest of the capital Baghdad, is visited by millions of pilgrims to visit the shrines of Hazrat Imam Hussain and Hazrat Imam Abbas.
