In Baldia Town area of Karachi, the bandits snatched the infant girl from the woman and escaped.
SSP Kemari Fida Hussain Januri said that the woman was keeping an 11-day-old baby girl in the bag.
According to the SSP, the woman told the police that the girl was sick, she was kept in a bag to protect her from cold.
Fida Hussain Januri further said that when the woman got off the bus with the bag, unknown persons snatched the bag and ran away.
He also said that CCTV footages are being seen near the incident site while further investigation is going on.
SSP Kemari said that the incident took place between 1:30 PM and 1:00 PM.
