After a video surfaced of a man in India marrying his twin sisters at the same time, the police launched an investigation.
According to Indian media, a man named Atul married twin sisters named Rinki and Pinki in a ceremony in the state of Maharashtra.
After the video of the wedding ceremony came to light, the police have registered a case against the groom, who can be sentenced to 7 years in prison.
According to Indian media, both sisters are IT engineers while Atul works in a travel agency.
The Women’s Commission in India has also demanded action against the three persons.
