The nation today needs a unity like the war of 65, Bilawal Bhutto

Pakistan People’s Party Chairman and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari says that the nation needs the spirit and unity of the 1965 war today to deal with the ravages of floods.

In his message on the occasion of Defense Day, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that today is the day to pay homage to the martyrs of the armed forces and express solidarity with their families.

Bilawal Bhutto said that today reminds us that with unity the nation can come out ahead even in a tough test.

He said that the efforts of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Bibi in making the defense of the homeland invincible are not hidden.

Bilawal Bhutto said that Shaheed Bhutto laid the foundations of the nuclear program despite the international pressure, all the propaganda and carried forward the nuclear program despite the pressure of the international establishment.

He said that martyr Ms. Benazir Bhutto gave the gift of missile technology for the defense of the country.

The Foreign Minister said that Pakistan’s strategic defense assets are in safe hands, and the Pakistani nation is unanimous in not compromising on them.

Bilawal Bhutto further said that PPP will continue to play a vanguard role in making the defense of the country eternal and will strengthen the supremacy of the constitution and democracy in the light of Quaid-e-Azam’s ideology.
