European Union strongly condemns the attack on Imran Khan

The European Union has strongly condemned the assassination attack on Pakistan’s former Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Speaking at a press conference in the European capital of Brussels, the spokesperson for the European Union’s foreign affairs, Nabila Misrali, said that we condemn the murderous attack on Imran Khan and his colleagues in the strongest terms.

At the same time, the spokesman welcomed the decision of the government of Pakistan to conduct an impartial investigation into the incident, saying that violence in any form is unacceptable and undermines democracy.

European Union Foreign Affairs Spokesperson Nabila Misrali on this occasion urged all parties to refrain from threats and violence.

Along with this, he expressed his condolences and sympathies to the people killed and injured in this incident and their families and wished them full recovery.

It should be noted that on November 3, during the PTI long march, Imran Khan was assassinated in Wazirabad, in which the PTI chairman was injured.

One person was killed and 13 people including the PTI chairman and other leaders were injured in the incident.

The shooter was later caught near the container who also confessed to firing on Imran Khan.
