Lahore High Court Chief Justice Amir Bhatti has taken notice of the work of private persons in the court offices and has ordered all officers and employees to immediately stop the services of private persons.
The Deputy Registrar HR of Lahore High Court has also issued an office order in this regard, in which it is said that it has been learned that the services of private persons have been taken in the judicial branches and offices. Individuals and lawyers resort to clerks.
According to the office order, resorting to private persons leads to loss and tampering of court records.
The office order has asked all High Court officers to immediately stop hiring private individuals.
In this regard, it has been further said that the supervisors of the offices of the Lahore High Court should be vigilant about the performance of their staff, the officers should ensure that their subordinate staff do not collude with any private person and if the staff is needed in the offices, in writing. But the authority should be informed.
