Rise in tourism reflects prosperity of common man: Fawad Chaudhry


Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry has said that about one lakh vehicles have entered Murree, which suggests that the increase in tourism reflects the prosperity of the common man.

In his Twitter message, Fawad Chaudhry said that about one lakh vehicles have entered Murree and the rents of hotels and residences have gone up many times.

Fawad Chaudhry said that the increase in tourism shows the prosperity of the common man and increase in income.

The Information Minister further said that this year 100 big companies earned a profit of Rs. 929 billion.

Earlier, Fawad Chaudhry had said that Pakistan’s stock market was the most profitable in the world with 18% profit.

Fawad Chaudhry also released a list of for-profit companies on his Twitter account.

According to the list shared by the Information Minister, these companies paid Rs 272 billion to their shareholders in the year 2020.
