Saudi Arabia will host the 9th Asian Winter Games in 2029. This was decided by the General Assembly of the Asian Olympics in its 41st session held in Cambodia’s capital, Phnom Penh.
The meeting discussed Saudi Arabia’s request to host the Asian Winter Games.
Meanwhile, Saudi Sports Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki, while briefing the meeting, said that in 2029, the 41st Asian Winter Games will be held in the newly constructed city of Neom, Trugena Resorts.
Saudi Arabia will be the first country in the West Asia region to host the Winter Games.
